TITLE: Substitute Nurse
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Pennsylvania Nursing License
Location: District Wide
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care, first aid, and emergency response to students as needed.
- Assess student illness and injury and respond appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with district procedures.
- Implement student health care plans and emergency protocols as assigned.
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation.
- Communicate with staff and parents/guardians, as appropriate, regarding student health concerns.
- Comply with all district policies, school health procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration or supervising nurse.
