Location: District-wide, where needed.
Primary Function: Custodian perform custodial work with minimal supervision assisting with the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings including, but not limited to, cleaning of carpeted, tile, wood and other floor surfaces; dusting, cleaning, waxing and moving furniture; cleaning doors, fixtures and glass surfaces including windows, door glass, framed pictures; cleaning and disinfecting lavatories, rest rooms and locker rooms; and collecting trash, flattening boxes and placing them into a dumpster; loading and unloading shipments of supplies, materials, and equipment; and light grounds keeping, including, raking, planting and trimming of plants, shrubs, etc..
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 17 years of age; ability to properly use all types of commercial vacuum cleaners, stripping and buffing machines and any special tool or piece of equipment assigned for the performance of duties and; the ability top lift up to 25 lbs. Should possess the ability to perform the essential functions, work independently, follow directions, and take initiative in assisting co-workers as needed. - All former employers that were school entities; and
- All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.
